Tu-Na Furkids : A family portrait

Arf! Arf! there good readers,

As you all know how active and busy we Dog Woods Pack & Fur Kids the Chief has not been able to capture a family portrait of the TOP DOG and his family i.e. Fur Kids and proud Momma Anna until yesterday. Mind you, we canines can sometimes be the most unco-operative when it comes to posing for photos ...

I have to say it's terribly unfortunate that the earlier pictures the Chief took of all the NINE (younger) fur kids were eaten up by her previous computer. Something about hard-disc crash...? And now that's permanently 'resting in pieces'. This TOP DOG is not quite certain how that worked out, since as far as I knows it, the computers that I've been paw-ing don't need to eat nor seem to go any where ... not like us Dog Wood canines who are either begging for more treats or gleefully stampeding about and crashing into each other, just for the fun of it!

Anywoos, as usual the Chief hung about and waited as she'd always done ... taking the occassional random shots when this TOP DOG and his family finally decided to arrange ourselves in one spot. It's taken the Chief many shots, before she got that ONE picture.

Let me just show you a sample of the not so successful attempts where the subject refused to co-operate.

Family photo shot attempt #101 : Dog Woods TOP DOG insistent on facing the wrong way ....

Family shot attempt #133 : 'Ack! We yawned!!' Yes, the TOP DOG is STILL facing the wrong way ...

The Fur Kids however, were having a photogenic day and were more ready to pose.

Sitting Pretty Fur-Kids shot #159 : From left to right, Dexter, Tubby, Brandi and Wally

And finally, that ONE good shot of the TOP Family. Proud Dog Father , TOP DOG of Dog Woods, Momma Anna and the four Fur Kids facing the camera ...

Mere seconds after the shot was taken, along came rambuctious Joe and scattered the perfect arrangment and the wild game of Dog Woods rough and tumble ensued ...

  1. Ah all the photos of backsides, tails, and a blur as a face is right up to the camera, John said he wishes he had a £ for them all. The worst is by the time the old camera took a pic the dog subject was off playing so there are loads of empty space. Well they do all look so happy and relaxed.
