Operation Snoop

Arf! Arf!

The Chief's ignoring us again ... though it happens only once in a blue moon, the unpleasantness of being ignored lasts us a while!

Being well read in the art of body language, we've learnt to recognize that whenever we are about to be ignored, the Chief would have a book and pencil in hand. Almost always, she'd be sitting pretty scribbling furiously - ignoring the fact that we're trying to out do each other leaping through hoops of fire trying to get her attention! (Whereas on usual days any 'sitting pretty pose' would bring about rapturous responses of what a good and clever dog(s) we are!).

Even our attempt to overwhelm her with our adoring licks and wriggling wags failed to win her sole attention. Instead, the only reaction we got from her when we displaced her off her strange seating device, was a grouchy 'Grrrr-ooofffFFF!!!' ..,

I dare say she's becoming to sound one like us canine Dog Woods Pack!

It's only inevitable that we've become curiously jealous about what lies in that book of hers that's stolen the attention that is caninely OURs ... So, Snoopy and I spent yesterday in 'Operation Snoop'. Our covert and careful plans to seek and elminiate our rivalling contention ...

But instead we discovered these ...

Snoopy and I were most flattered ... relieved too that we no longer have reasons to be barking-ly jealous of the book and pencil anymore ...

Though it hasn't slipped my attention though that Snoopy has TWO sketches of her and me ONE! Does that mean the Chief love the TOP DOG less??! *sniff* I think this reckons a HOWL (?)
